Residential Property Services Rolls Out New Resident App

The Residential Property Services group rolled out a new app, Mobile Doorman, with help from their partner, Zego. The user-friendly mobile app was rolled out across all apartment communities (approximately 9,250 units) throughout Q2 & Q3 2022. Residents can download the custom mobile app, set up a profile, submit maintenance requests, receive package notifications, pay rent and other property charges, and communicate with on-site staff immediately. The tool makes it much easier for on-site staff to communicate with residents via bulletins and mass text and email blasts that can be sent in just minutes.

The app received positive feedback from both on-site management and residents alike. Assistant Portfolio Manager Gabrielle Gullins said, “Since adopting the Mobile Doorman App, we’ve seen residents utilize the app for direct communication with the office, submitting service requests, and making payments. Residents are able to provide detailed service requests along with pictures via the app. This helps our maintenance team better understand an issue if the resident is not home when a repair is completed.” The RPS team is excited to start 2023 with all sites fully transitioned to the app.
