RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Several Richmond associates volunteered at Little Hands Virginia this week and got a lot accomplished!  We spent several hours organizing donated fleece PJs for winter care packages, filled requests for deliveries to families in need (that included clothing bundles, diapers, baby gear, feeding items, bathing items and toys), and helped to receive/process real-time donations.

Little Hands Virginia makes sure children from birth to 3 years old have the essentials to thrive from Day 1. Our model relies on the donation of new and “nearly new” items. We sort and bundle items, and deliver them to parents and children identified by our network of over 60 Richmond area partners including local agencies, shelters, hospitals and other nonprofits.

Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Through Thalhimer Gives, our associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time, with paid time off, to local non-profit organizations. 
In 2021, Thalhimer Gives donated $41,453, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 490 hours to local charities. This year, 2022, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary of Thalhimer Gives.
