RICHMOND, VIRGINIA:  Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity for the second quarter of 2022 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a company-wide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations. 

• Donating financially
   o Thalhimer associates raised $5,696 for Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity through Friday Jeans donations. Friday Jeans allows Thalhimer associates to wear jeans every
      Friday and make a monetary donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization, along with a company match.

• Giving generously of their time
   o Thalhimer partnered with Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity for volunteer opportunities and provided associates with paid time off to give back.
       – Thalhimer associates volunteered two separate full days at ReStore helping to receive and process donations from cleaning donations items to sorting, assembling, pricing, and then
          placing all of the items on the showroom floor.
       – A team of eight associates put in a lot of hard work at a Richmond Habitat for Humanity construction site. We helped to finish up the exterior of the build site and wrap with Tyvek.
         We also helped to build a closet, remove/cut all of the old wiring, pulled nails from ceiling beams to get it ready for drywall, and general clean-up of the interior.

• Providing much-needed supplies
   o Thalhimer associates donated an assortment of construction items for Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity and Home Depot gift cards.

Our volunteers got to help with a house renovation in the downtown area of Richmond, and also worked at their ReStore retail locations. Founded in 2018, Thalhimer Gives is a companywide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving in the markets we serve. Through Thalhimer Gives, our associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time, with paid time off, to local non-profit organizations. 
In 2021, Thalhimer Gives donated $41,453, collected thousands of supplies, and associates volunteered 490 hours to local charities. This year, 2022, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary of Thalhimer Gives.
